Hamadan Double rug

This is a wonderful Persian Hamadan double rug dating back to the 1960’s.

Traditionally these are made together, then later separated. It is wool on cotton with lovely camel colour to the border and corners, and a madder red field with soft intricate design.

This is in excellent condition, is still in tact but can be separated to get two small symmetrical rugs, making it an ideal home addition.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non slip underlayer, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
