Bergama Prayer Rug

A pretty little prayer rug, from the early 20th century. It has stunning colours, is wool on wool and hand made with all vegetable dyes.

Note the inscription in Arabic at the top of the rug. It has slight even wear and full pile, suitable for normal domestic use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non slip underlayer, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
