A stunning ‘khanmuhammedi’ type Afghan runner. This lovely rug is of exceptional size, long runners being harder to make and harder to find.

1990’s handwoven glorious natural wool on a wool foundation making it thick and soft. It boasts intricate patterns throughout, highlighted by sprays of rich, bold colour. The colours are derived from vegetable dyes, along with the wool giving it everlasting colour and shine.

In fantastic condition, this stunning hard to acquire runner is ideal for furnishing, being suitable for normal to heavy domestic use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
