This is a beautifully drawn Kazak cloudband design wool on wool rug from the end of the 19th century.

A good example of its type, this Caucasian rug features the classic cloudband design in stunning colours derived from all vegetable dyes.

In fantastic condition with good thick wool pile this rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
