Handmade Persian Afshar carpet dating back to the 1920’s.

It is of a cute squarish size, made from lovely natural wool on a wool foundation. A simple border frames an intricate detail sprayed with rich colour. Derived from vegetables this carpet hosts lovely rare rich green detail, giving it subtle boldness.

We stock a similar style Afshar (SOC2118) should you seek dual furnishing pieces. In very good condition, suitable for normal domestic use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
