This rug dates back to 1920s and is 100% wool.

It's in perfect condition, with good pile, though slightly lower on the bottom left corner.

Beautiful example of classic Afshar, coloured using only vegetable dyes.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non slip underlayer, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchase from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
